Gullrun

Stor rund ca. 8 kg, pressad hårdost, så kallad bergsost, gjord på fullfet komjölk. Osten får en lätt tvättad kittyta som ger mersmak, lagras i minst i 12 månader för att få ett ordentligt sting. Fin på smörgåsen eller till dessert på ostbrickan i stavar, kuber och tjocka skivor.  Ger bra smak till gratänger. Namnet har den fått efter de skogsbeklädda höjder (en Ru, alla med eget namn) som omgärdar Skärvången. Vin bör vara av fylliga och kraftiga typer, typ Port.

Fett: ca 40%        Vikt: ca 8 kg,        Bitad: ca.1 kg  och 200g  bitar
